Happy New Year, fellow REALTORS®!

I'm thrilled to be your President for 2025 and I'm so excited about the year ahead! I want to express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for your continued membership and support of our association. Your involvement is what makes us strong, and I'm incredibly proud of the work we've accomplished together. Last year, our industry experienced unprecedented changes, but we made it through. I'm proud of the way our Metro South Association embodies the REALTOR® brand and I'm confident that with your dedication and support, we'll achieve great things for our members and our community this year and beyond.

I encourage all of you to get involved! Whether you're a seasoned veteran or a brand-new agent, there's a place for you at our association. We have committees for everything from professional development to governmental affairs, and we're always looking for volunteers. Don't hesitate to reach out to me, staff, or board members if you have any questions, need assistance, or simply want to chat. We're here to support you and help you succeed. Let's make 2025 a year of growth, collaboration, and success!

MSAR welcomes our 2025 Leadership Team. Some faces may be familiar and others may be new. This dynamic group is committed to being your member representatives at the table as they lead this organization through 2025 and beyond!

We have created our Committee Workday schedule for 2025. This is the best way to jump head-first into having a voice in your association. Make plans to join one of our upcoming sessions and see where you might be interested in jumping in to help. All MSAR Members are welcome!

With a decadent table setting, COE 2025 is poised to be opulent like no other, a shining beacon to inspire into 2025. Whether you are applying for the first time, the fortieth, or are coming as a guest, Bienvenue!

During GAR's Annual Inaugural and Legislative Conference, all Georgia REALTORS® are encouraged to attend the REALTOR® Day at the Dome, where we will hear from Georgia Lawmakers and other special guests about Legislative Priorities that affect our local and state practices, and have the opportunity to visit the State Capitol, all while the Georgia House of Representatives and Senate are in session. REALTOR® Day at the Dome is a complimentary event. The full week of Inaugural and Legislative Conferences is a paid event. If you are registered for the full conference, you are automatically registered for Day at the Dome and do not need to separately register.

• If you are registered for the Full Conference, Day at the Dome is Included.
• You will make your registraion choice at the bottom of the screen.

• To save on parking and show up with our peers in a sea of REALTOR blue, MSAR offers a complimentary shuttle bus for the Day at the Dome event.
• Registering for the shuttle bus ride does not automatically register you for the conference or Day at the Dome event. Please make sure you do both.
• Space is limited and the Day at the Dome event often fills up, so please register for both as soon as possible.
• Schedule:
  • The bus will depart MSAR, 1671 Adamson Parkway, Morrow, GA 30260, promptly at 6:30am and travel to the Mariott Marquis in Downtown Atlanta.
  • The bus will depart the Marriott Marquis promptly at 5:15pm and return to MSAR.
  • All bus riders will be responsible for ensuring they meet at the proper locations and times communicated by MSAR.

It is with great reluctance that we announce Carole Savell's retirement. Carole has been with MSAR for 8 years as our Membership Director. In many seasons, Carole was our everything, the glue holding our staff duties together. She has consistently placed the needs of our members above her own, working through many staff and leadership changes. In 2021, Carole was awarded the MSAR Administrator of the Year award. In her own words, Carole says that MSAR has given her purpose. 

Our association is honored to have been part of Carole's story and hopes to continue to be part of her future in retirement. Carole will spend her free time reading, enjoying her cats, and finding new ways to be a shining light in others' lives. MSAR will host a Retirement Party for Carole on Thursday, 2/27/25, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm with a special presentation at 3:00pm. Below is a link to register to attend.
