Help NAR Show Congress the Real Impact of the Government Shutdown

From the National Association of REALTORS®:

The federal government has been shut down since October 1, and the effects are rippling through America's housing market. Nearly one-fifth of the U.S. economy depends on housing, and each day of inaction adds new strain for families, small businesses, and communities.

Federal housing and mortgage programs that REALTORS® and consumers rely on are being disrupted. HUD (including FHA), USDA, VA, and the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) have all been affected. Home sales are delayed, loans are stalled, and property owners and housing agencies that administer rental assistance programs face mounting uncertainty.

REALTORS® are often the first to see how these disruptions impact buyers, sellers, and renters. NAR is gathering stories from members across the country to help illustrate to Congress the real-world consequences of this shutdown.

If your business, clients, or community have been affected, please share your experience with us. Your insights help NAR advocate for a swift resolution and ensure policymakers understand what's at stake for housing.
