Metro South Association of REALTORS® Application

Instructions

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member with Metro South Association of REALTORS®. Please complete all sections of the application in their entirety to the best of your ability. Once your application is received and processed, our membership team will reach out to you to collect payment. Payment is processed electronically through our secure software vendor called Growthzone. When you receive your invoice via email, you may click the link on the invoice to securely pay online. You may also pay with a card over the phone or mail a check to our office. Please note that a $5 convenience fee will be added to all membership dues payments when using a debit/credit card. If mailing a check, please deduct the $5 convenience fee.

Membership Types: Please review before selecting a type in the next section.

  • Primary REALTOR" This means that you pay NAR and GAR dues with us. We are your "Home" Association. Most members fall within this category.
  • Secondary REALTOR® (GAR & MSAR): This means that you have primary membership with another Association, usually in another state. In this situation, you pay GAR dues with us and NAR dues with your Primary Association.
  • Secondary REALTOR® (MSAR): This means that you have primary membership with another association and pay only local dues through MSAR. Your NAR and GAR dues are paid through another Association.'
  • The term "Designated REALTOR®" refers to the Broker/Owner of a firm or the Supervising/Managing Broker of a firm. Please only select a Designated REALTOR® option if you are the Managing Broker. 

Membership Application Acknowledgement:

By submitting your application, you acknowledge the following:

1. The applicant agrees as a condition of membership to thoroughly familiarize themselves with the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS®, the Constitution and Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations of the Board, State and National Associations, and if elected a REALTOR® Member, will abide by the Constitutions and Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the Board, State and National Associations, will abide by the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS®, including the obligation to arbitrate (or to mediate) controversies arising out of real estate transactions as specified by Article 17 of the Code of Ethics and as further specified in the Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual of the National Association of REALTORS®, as from time to time amended.

2. The applicant consents that the Board, through its Staff or otherwise, may invite and receive information and comment about applicant from any Member or other persons, and that applicant agrees that any information and comment furnished to the Board by any person in response to this invitation shall be conclusively deemed to be privileged and not form the basis of any action for slander, libel, or defamation of character. The applicant shall, with the form of application, have access to a copy of the Constitution and Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, and Code of Ethics referred to above.

3. Upon approval of application, all new members agree to complete a New Member Orientation course covering the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the Metro South Association of REALTORS®, the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the Georgia Association of REALTORS®, and the Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, and Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS®.
