We Need Volunteers for the C.I.A.
(Compassion in Action Committee)

Didn't expect to see that today, did you? MSAR is proud to present the Compassion in Action Committee (formerly CarePAC) and is seeking volunteers!
Scope of Work: The purpose of this committee is to show solidarity and support when members of the MSAR family are sick, grieving the loss of a loved one, or are otherwise in need of support. Support may look like offering words of comfort, providing meals, or even just sitting with someone in their time of need.

Leader Spotlight - Nisha Harden
|
Let's meet Nisha Harden, MSAR's Education Committee Chair and Local Director. For the past couple of years, Nisha and her committee have been hard at work, bolstering MSAR's educational offerings with timely, relevant, and quality educational content. Under her leadership, MSAR saw over 700 students in classes in 2025 and nearly 400 in 2026 so far. There has been a focus on specialty classes, quarterly core classes like ethics, license law, and Fair Housing, quarterly evening classes, and classes offered in Spanish. Most recently, MSAR was awarded a NAR Fair Housing Grant to completely cover all fees related to 47 students achieving their At Home With Diversity Certification, more than tripling the number of members with the AHWD Certification at MSAR. Nisha is also a student in the 2026 MSAR Leadership Academy. As a student and a leader, Nisha consistently shows up, rolls up her sleeves, and sets a great example for servant leadership. We look forward to seeing what Nisha's future holds at MSAR and beyond! Let's hear a bit about Nisha from her own words:
Question: Tell us something interesting about yourself.
- Nisha's Answer: "I spent a summer on tour when I was in 8th grade (as a Roadie)."
Question: What's on your desk that has no business being there?
- Nisha's Answer: "A wooden massage tool is on my desk and it absolutely should be!"
Question: What's your most over-used phrase?
- Nisha's Answer: "Bless your heart."

National Real Estate Ethics Day with Leigh Brown - Live at Metro South
|
This class is in-person only at MSAR. The instructor will be live streaming to the MSAR Classroom. This course meets the NAR code of ethics renewal requirement. This course provides 3 hours Georgia Real Estate Continuing Education Credit and Georgia Instructor Credit.
Understanding the Code of Ethics and its requirements makes us a better REALTOR®. This course will walk REALTORS® through ALL of the articles of the Code with emphasis on the most misunderstood and/or are most violated. REALTORS® will learn how Fair Housing *should* impact their business and their community for the better. Bringing the very best presentation to our buyer and seller clients is our number one goal and following the Code can help you do that. This course provides REALTORS® with a reliable reference for guidance in dealing with complex situations in today's day to day practice of real estate.
