We Hope to See You at our Upcoming General Membership Meeting

All members are welcome and encouraged to attend MSAR’s General Membership Meeting, featuring our 2nd Annual Cultural Bites & Insights Celebration, presented by MSAR’s Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, & Action (I.D.E.A.) Committee. Guests will participate in the general business meeting of MSAR, then enjoy foods from various cultures and learn about what those dishes mean in their respective cultures, immediately followed by trivia!

5/13 Committee Meeting Day Rescheduled to 5/20

The GAR RENEW (Real Estate Networks Empowering Women) Conference at the Zoo is taking place during our regularly scheduled committee meeting days. After speaking with the Executive Committee, we realize that many folks may want the opportunity to attend RENEW and a few leaders are already planning on being away. The Executive Committee has decided to reschedule the Committee Meeting Day to the Following Week, Wednesday, May 20th, 2026, in order to accommodate the event. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Reginald McCrary Scholarship Applications Open Through June 7th

Each year, the MSAR Education Foundation, through Metro South Association of REALTORS®, awards a scholarship of up to $1500 to a high school graduate who is attending college or enrolled in a vocational-technical school program. If you are related to a high school senior who meets the following criteria, please encourage them to click the link below and fill out a scholarship application. Applications must be signed by a school counselor and the school principal, then returned to msar@msarboard.com no later than June 7th, 2026 at 11:59pm.
 
Scholarship Award Criteria:
  1. Applicants must have at least a "B" average as shown on their high school transcript.
  2. Applicants must have demonstrated leadership in school and / or community involvement.
  3. Applicants must have applied for or been accepted for enrollment in an accredited college or university and working toward a bachelor's or associate degree; or enrolled in a vocational-technical institution which leads to a certificate.
  4. Financial need of the applicant may be considered in the scholarship award.
  5. All applicants must be children, stepchildren, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, or nephews who are related to a Primary Member of the Metro South Association of REALTORS® and are graduating from an accredited high school program within the State of Georgia.
  6. The applicant's high school principal and school counselor must sign each application to verify the student's scholarship, character, and extracurricular activities.
  7. Recipients of the scholarship must register for and complete the minimum number of hours required to be classified as a full-time student at the institution of their choice and maintain a cumulative "C" average.
  8. The MSAR Education Foundation, through the Metro South Association of REALTORS®, makes no distinction in its scholarship awards based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
  9. The MSAR Education Foundation, through the Metro South Association of REALTORS®, reserves the right to make the final selection of each year's recipient. The scholarship decision of the MSAR Education Foundation, through the Metro South Association of REALTORS®, shall be final and uncontestable.
  10. Applications are due by Sunday, June 7th, 2026 at 11:59pm.

If real estate is your business, then so is politics. MSAR wants you to know where, how, and when to vote. You already know why. Local and state elections, even in the primary, are turning points for key seats. You get to choose to elect someone who represents your values, fights for property ownership and property rights, and protects your business. One of the biggest hinderances to a fair and powerful democratic process is low voter turnout. Share with you friends, family, and everyone you know. Let's get to the polls on May 19th or go ahead and vote early! See the resources below to help you.
 

Want to join MSAR in D.C. this June?

The REALTORS® Legislative Meetings in Washington, D.C., brings together thousands of members to conduct the business of NAR and unite for a common cause—advancing the real estate profession through powerful, impactful policy advocacy.

 

If you are a member of MSAR and are interested in policy, advocacy, leadership, or more, this conference is available for you. Registration is Complimentary for all REALTORS®, you just pay for lodging, food, flight, etc. For members who choose to attend, MSAR loves to stick together as a group (if you want) and make your experience remarkable. We may meet with Senators, Congress, and other legislators, tour DC, and learn about all aspects of the political work being done for Private Property Rights. It's not purely a Democratic or Republican effort. The REALTORS® Legislative Meetings is truly a bi-partisan (Purple!) effort to make real change that impacts property owners and real estate professionals across the country!
